The presentation concentrates on Risk Management from an E&O perspective:
- What is Loss Control?
- Recognizing potential E&O situations and exposures
- Professional responsibilities of today’s broker
- Sources of claims (lines, classes, process activities) and some actual claims examples
- What the duties of the broker are throughout the process of managing a customer account (new business, policy servicing, renewal, etc.)
- Tips on how to run your office and structure internal controls to reduce exposure to E&O losses
- What is Standard of Practice and why is it so important?
Each seminar is a little different as we like to have the audience direct the course of discussion. We will spend more time on the areas of concern to a particular group than others, while making sure that we cover what we see as the integral topics for all firms.
